Robin Thicke is dropping a vid for track 8 of Sex Therapy with English vocalist who loves her American Boys Estelle.  MTV was on set with the singers and Rob gave us a little insite on the record.

The song is all about the ups and downs of love, as the title suggests. And while the song’s subject matter is deep, Thicke wanted to keep the video’s vibe a little lighter.

“The song is about the roller coaster you go through in a single relationship, but in this video, we’re just talking about the roller coaster of romance,” he explained. “We’re trying to throw a nice little house party that’s representative of the house parties that I have at my house, which is classy, sexy, wild, naughty all at the same time.”

Some big names came through to support the Big Boss on his Born-Day at the mansion in Miami.

If you haven’t already heard Luda’s Conjure Mixtape then you MUST! In a sit down with MTV Cris breaks down his beat selection and what the songs mean to him.

Definite joints to check for

“O Let’s Do It.” “Atlanta’s been on fire for quite some time,” Ludacris said, before delving into why he got on Waka Flocka Flame’s beat. “We stay on fire. Right about now, it’s a lot of crazy aggressive beats that’s coming out of the hometown. That keeps me inspired; aggressive tracks I feel I gotta put a voice too. That’s a beat that caught my attention the first time I heard it. I was in the studio with Gucci Mane. It’s aggressive. I felt like I wanted to do something on it. I made it happen. What am I talking about [on the track]? It’s about lifestyle, about culture, expressing yourself. It’s about getting gritty and grimy in the streets. All the hustlers know that. Let’s do it.”

» “All Da Way Turnt Up.” “The whole record is talking about being yourself, turning your music up as loud as hell and not caring what anybody had to say,” Cris explains about his takeover of Roscoe Dash’s record. “It’s about you being too loud. Sometimes you get tickets for disturbing the peace. When you see a cop, you have to turn it down.”

» “Pennies.” “Something that happened a while ago, but a lot of people didn’t get to hear it,” Luda says about the original version by the Cool Kids. “I definitely love the underground and all the artists for making names for themselves and making sure they have a following of their own. That’s something the Cool Kids have done and continue to do. I still have a passion for hip-hop and I still love it. No matter how many records I’ve sold, I feel a need to get on underground records.”

In a recent sit down with XXL The “Al, Al, Al, Alchemist” who dubs as Em’s tour DJ and has been around the detroit M.C. a lot more lately, revealed that 2 of the games top producers have been locked in da lab with Slim Shady cookin up heat for Relapse 2.  Alch, a production powerhouse himself says Just Blaze and West Coast beat man DJ Khalil who are responsible for such hits as Jay Electronica’s “Exibit C” and Khalil who’s produced monster smashes this past year like Drake’s “Fear” and The Clipse “Kinda Like A Big Deal” have been keeping Em pretty busy.

“Khalil—who I think is like the best producer right now to me—he had been sending records to Em for a while that wasn’t like, they weren’t like clicking in,” Alchemist told XXL. “Em knew he was dope but they haven’t found the right one. And I think they found a couple joints now… the joints they have are crazy. I can’t say 100 percent [that he made the album], but I have heard at least two joints Khalil did and they’re fuckin’ stupid.” Al Says of DJ Khalil

One person that Em has been working a lot with is Just Blaze. Al gave XXL insight into their chemistry: “He clicked with Em,” he said. “It was really amazing, too. They really vibed and made some music, beyond like Just just sending him beats, it was nothing like that…I think it’s a perfect meshing of the two…If you could imagine what they could bring to the table at this point, it’s pretty close and maybe a little more.”
